I know this is not about guinea-pigs, but I suspect that there must be some piggy owners who have style out there.

lol

What fashion thingies do you love or not love?
Right now, I loathe feather and owl accessories.
This includes but is not limited to feather extentions, bracelets, faux lashes, earrings, necklaces, belts...

Feather extensions just make it seem as if your head is a bird's nest. :eye-poppi

I'm loving Oxford heels right now, bright summery leggings and ruffled dresses. Yes, in Winter.

EDIT:

Whoops on the title.
It is meant to say "fashion thingies you enjoy".

Right now I'm rocking tee shirts and jeans. An old combo but tried and true. lol

Things I hate: Moms that wear yoga pants everywhere. I'm a mommy of two under 4 so I see it a lot and it drives me nuts! I know I don't have the time or patience to dress and look the way I did before I had kids but at least I put on real pants. ;)

Maybe yoga pants are more comfortable for them. I don't understand why, however.
Why would a mom need different pants than anyone else?
What makes yoga pants more convenient? Jeans have sturdier pockets.
Not even the college kids i'm around dress in sweats or yoga pants.
A lot of them will dress like they're going to the Grammy's, in fact.
Plus, they're moms.

Stress, busy, crying kids, baby spit up, yoga pants are easy. I know I don't have a hour to get ready in the morning like before I had kids but I still manage to put on some eye liner and real pants/skirt/dress. Many moms don't have the bodies they had before kids but that doesn't mean they can't wear jeans. I noticed that none of my college going mommy friends do it (though here in TX PJ bottoms are a popular college pant) or the moms that work, just stay at home moms of babies and toddlers by preschool I think they figured out moms don't have to look frumpy. I see it in the park, at Target on a weekday morning, my neighbor does it all day long everyday. I never could do it.

I live next to a college area and all I see are baggy pants down at the needs with boxers hanging out or either guys wearing ridiculously tight jeans YUCK! And you are so right Inle_Rabbit! Pajama pants are worn everywhere! Just style has gone everywhere nowadays.

I decided to make a big change in my wardrobe about two years ago, since I was sick of looking like a "sloppy Mommy." I now wear Indian clothing: Salwar Kameez for the everyday wear and saris when I want to look special.

A salwar kameez is basically a tunic that can be any length and a pair of trousers that can be any style: leggings, baggy, gathered at the ankle, whatever floats your boat! The outfit can be made of cotton, rayon, crepe, faux crepe, almost any fabric. The tunic can be an ankle length
a-line dress, an empire waist tunic that comes to the hip, it's all about what you like!

I've bought my outfits online as well as finding pieces (through sheer luck) at thrift stores and consignment shops. The possibilities for fabric choices, prints, style of sleeves, etc. is endless! I always feel pretty. Just Google "Salwar Kameez" and anyone can pick one of the websites to have an outfit custom made (or get it ready made, they do have choices in American sizes) or you can PM me and I can give more info for anyone interested!
