I have noticed that my pig seems to have a small growth on the outside of both of his front feet. It lookls like it is dead tissue, and it is connected to his paw. I squeezed it and he did not to notice. I am wondering if this is normal or some sort of strange mutation, growth (obviously), or vistigual digit.

Should it be removed? Can it be a problem? Is this normal?

You might try to find out what the symptoms for bumblefoot are. It sounds like the descriptions I've heard.

Good Luck,
Marie

These are spurs, and you are right, it's dead skin. It can easily be cut off will nail clippers, just make sure you don't cut the healthy skin.
