I've been thinking of adopting another piggy but am afraid that Ollie will be jealous. Does anyone know if getting a new pig will cause your original pig to be angry? That's the last thing I want.

It shouldnt make the other piggie jealous of you. but the piggies may no get along because like humans not all pigs get along.

*sorry i forgot to say adopting is a good and all pigs could use a friend*

Ollie should be just fine with you adopting another pig. In fact he will probably be very glad to have a friend. Pigs really do not care much if they have our companionship or not. But they do want to be in a herd of their own kind.

Jealousy and anger are human emotions. Guinea pigs do not get jealous or angry. Ollie would probably appreciate a friend of the same species to pal around with. Please remember to adopt and to do the 21 day quarantine period, in a separate room behind closed doors from Ollie.
