I have 2 adolescent boars, that are currently in a 2x4 cage. Since they've recently not been getting along I'm planning to rebuild their cage. I don't know whether to make a 2x6 cage, or a 3x5. A 3x5 will offer wider room to run laps, but a 2x6 will give them more room to get away from each other. Which one would be better? Or would it even matter?

Wider seems to be better than long and narrow.

3x5 provides a lot more square footage. If you have space for it, go for it.
