Weight Loss Eevee’s thread

She's at a prime age for ovarian cysts. They can cause the type of behavior you're seeing.
I sure hope that’s not it. I don’t see any obvious signs other than the obnoxious behavior from Eevee and Eri. Chai seems to have calmed down. Eri has lost some weight now. Eevee may be starting to calm down a little but Eri is amping up her behavior. I’m taking them all to the vet tomorrow. I’m becoming a regular there. I’ll see what she says about it. I’m hoping that Eevee is starting to gain some weight back and maybe getting back to normal. If she doesn’t have any ovarian cysts then she might calm down if her weight goes back up and she doesn’t feel the need to assert her dominance. I’ve been weighing Eevee daily.

I'd want an ultrasound done to see if she does have the cysts. They can rupture and cause fatal bleeding.

They’re at the vet right now. She had me drop them off so she can check them out between appointments. Eevee’s weight seems to have stabilized but the rumblestrutting is still going on. I’m having her check Eevee and Eri. Poor Chai is just along for moral support. Chai is the only one that is acting normal and her weight is about where it usually is.

No ovarian cysts on Eevee. I probably should go to Eri’s thread to post about her issues since this has kind of evolved. As far as Eevee, she said to try taking her off of Critical Care and see how she does. Her weight is stable now. I asked about a theory I had about this being a dominance issue since Eevee is the alpha. She could be trying to assert dominance and Eri may be stressed out and possibly trying to take over. The vet is going to ask another vet about that. This other vet is a board certified exotics vet and radiologist. She helped us get Eri’s diagnosis last summer of an outer ear infection that my previous vet missed on the X-ray.

That's good.
