I just built a new C&C cage and decided to switch to fleece.....We was taking their bed liners off to wash and I noticed holes.....So then when I put them back I was watching and my girls are lifting the fabric up and eating it.....What do I do:sick:

Secure the fleece to the side over the coroplast with laundry clips to avoid them burrowing under it, or sew it specifically to fold over nicely. Make sure they have other things to chew on & play with in the cage like hay tunnels (Oxbow, Boredom breakers hay'n'hide), brown paper bags filled with hay & wooden hideys. Pigs are like small children, they often identify new things with their mouths, they usually stop once they've gotten used to it.

They had lots of toys to play with......The fleece is sewed to specifically fold over so it is tight.....Thanks for the help

How many hay racks/areas do they have? I have noticed my pigs chew on coroplast less when they have various hay areas to keep them occupied.

if they keep it up just switch to wood shavings or something else.

They have hay on the top level and on the second level....all of their holes are on the bottom level

Do your pigs know how to use the ramp yet? They might not be able to get to the hay and that's why they're chewing on fleece.

They run up and down so much....They know where the food it...I thought that at first too but they are eating.....
