Ok I was checking out my two boys last night because they seem to shed alot (but my 5 year old has always shed taht much, and hes been to the vet). But I noticed that my younger one has like white things in his hair. I thought it kind of looked like either dandruff or dry skin. It's not moving so its not Lice, and it doesn't really look like lice. But I was wondering if this is normal, and what can i do about it?

Mites are known to cause a dandruff like appearance. Mites can remain dormant in a pig and if the pig gets stressed the mites will act up. I don't know if it is mites or not but you can read this page for more information about mites, lice, fungal infections and hairloss: https://guinealynx.info/hairloss.html

I don't think its mites. Wouldn't my other pig have it too if it was mites?

.you wouldn't neccasarily notice them. Both of my pigs had mites but i only noticed it on one. I took them both to the vet. Ivermectin doesn't hurt them if they aren't invected.

You can always treat them both just to be on the safe side. If your one pig has mites, the other pig will get them in time. Just as dagwell said, you won't always notice it on all of them.

Here is a link to the Ivermectin page at gunealynx:
