Another post...

I was just petting Fudgy Bananas yesterday and notice a little tiny white dry spot on the rim of her left ear (the inside part) and so I started looking around and found more thin, white dry/scabby behind her ear. It looks dry skin (?) but it doesn't cover the entire back of the ear (only near her fur). I've gotten her for a week or two and need to take her to a vet for a checkup. After this, I'm definitely going to get right on it! But in the meantime, does anyone know what the dry ear is all about?

Check for dry skin elsewhere. Dandruff could be a sign of mites. If you got him at a pet store, it is most likely.

Could be Fungus.

My piggy, Charlie, had a thin patchy layer of dry skin on the outside of both his ears and it turned out to be Mange. It is easily treated...ask your vet his opinion when he checks her over.
