Double medications??

Ok, so I took Mulder to the vet about his flaky ear, she diagnosed ringworm. She did say however that he could have ringworm and something else. Just don't know for sure. So she gave me some ringworm treatment which I do once a week. My question is....Do you think it would be wise to use Ivermectin on him as well, or would the doubling be dangerous? The ringworm treatment is a mixture that we have to wipe on his ear and his hide legs. Thanks.

I would post this on guinea lynx and ask their advice before proceeding. They are much more familiar on there with medications and medical advice.
