Double cage good?

Ok I am so anxious about getting my New Cavies and i so wish i could have them fast but i need to plan this out and set up well before they come so there is less confusion for the piggies. Since a good size cage for one piggy is 2x3 and im going to have a young adult and a baby together would it be sufficient for them to be in a 2x3 with another 2x3 upstairs(maybe with a cuddle room on the thrid floor!?) My mom said we could just nail a giant flat piece of wood across my dresser to make a big sturdy top for the cage to rest on and maximize space(shes ever the conveinient one). Ive been making diagrams of possible C&C set ups all day.

I'd recommend a 2x4 or 2x5, because upper flooring does not count sq.ft as the bottom does. It actually takes away, because of the ramp. Then maybe you could do an upper level.

awesome great idea, I think 2 would do great in a 2x3 if space is an issue... Bigger is always better of course

xD; i couldnt guess. Yeah im going 2x4 with a second 2x4 OR 2x3 if im worried about how sturdy it is after i put it together.

That is so cool Setsuna! Sorry about my first post.. I didn't mean to sound harsh! (The only reason why I recommended a 2x4 is because I made a 2x3 and it seemed very small.... to me, lol!) ja ne!
