Wow, I think I'll try that with my mom and see if she can give our dog it. +++ Can an old dog around 12 be fed that? It doesn't seem heathy for some dog her age.

With a dog that age I would probably not feed it much raw meat. Starting this late in life may cause tummy problems in your dog. Instead I would make it a yummy fruit and veggie puree (with garlic) to add to it's (good quality) food and just add a scoop of yogurt too.

Does anyone know if Solid Gold food is good? My dog really likes it(my aunt got us a bag and we mixed it in with her wysong) but I don't want to support that company if they test on lab animals.

Solid Gold is an excellent dog food. Tends to be high quality. I know it has often been used by people who have animals with skin problems.

I would not give an old dog raw meat. Very few companion animals need a raw diet. A raw diet is better for performance or high energy animals.
