Bonding Does this sound like it's going well?

Well I'm on day 2 of the dating dance with my 2 boar brothers, aged 11 months. With previous introductions and homing together failing, I'm very nervous and skeptical with this one. However, from what I have read, it seems to be going well. The floor introduction was good with them grooming eachother and doing alot of mounting and rumblestrutting. So I joined their 2x4 cages to make it a 2x8, thinking the extra room would help. So far, there's no blood shed, just rumblestrutting, mounting, alot of chasing, nose offs kicking and light nipping. They are both eating fine, almost always within a foot of eachother. Does this sound like it's normal and going well? Can I relax and not worry as much about all the noises they are making?

Hello and Good Morning ! :)

Yes, it definitely sounds like things are going well ! So you can breathe a sigh of relief now. Just keep a close eye on them for awhile, until they establish who is going to be the "dominant" piggie, just to be safe.

They are ADORABLE ! You took really good photo's of Charlie and Rodney, simply breath-taking ! Your Abby is gorgeous, and I love how his face has lots of white in it too. Rodney is the bottom picture, right ? He is too cute too..and his whiskers are so adorably long !lol

Charlie is my cuddle bug, loves giving kisses. I'm unsure what breed Rod is. He has a smooth coat, with the brindle markings and the coat is long and straight in the back (tail) area and under his arm pits lol.

Yep, relax. Noises are fine.

Update...

I can now hold them both without any rumbling! I haven't been able to do that since I first brought them home when they were 5 weeks old :)

What a couple of cutiepies you have! Glad they are settling down and welcome to the forum!

They are super adorable looking. Things sound good so far. Boars make me so nervous to introduce!!!
