Pregnancy does she look pregnant

hi i got my girl about 6 weeks ago from a lady that a unwanted litter. when i got her she was still in with her mom . she told me she was born in august. she as started 2 eat more and drink water more in the last 2 weeks and she wont let me pick her up she jumps away. i get her out using her tent so i dont touch her body. she will let me touch her head she likes that but no where else. thanks

Many guinea pigs don't like being handled directly by humans. That's why I use my "guinea pig trap" method. She is a young pig. She get going to get bigger. Guinea pigs are just that, pigs. They eat and eat and eat and eat and eat. Their digestive systems are constantly on the move, so they are constantly eating. Shouldn't be nothing to worry about until you actually start seeing a pear shape to her.

She is about 6 months as was told she was born in august . She was with 2 other guinea and mom .

Im not sure if they was boys or girls. yes its her cage as i put her in there incase she was pregnant its a 1x4. I was trying to bond her with my other girls there cage is a 2x4 c&c.

With all that hair, it's very hard to tell if she's pregnant. But there are three reliable signs of pregnancy (which usually lasts 9-10 weeks): 1) At about six weeks, you can feel the pups moving if you put your hands along her flanks and press gently; 2) About a week before birth, you can hear the pups' teeth gnashing; and 3) about 48 hours before birth, the pelvic bones will separate (http://www.guinealynx.info/forums/viewtopic.php?p=1816328&highlight=pelvic+bones#1816328).

If you've had her six weeks and she's pregnant, you should be able to feel the pups moving.

Hard to tell with all that hair.... Maybe... Just be extra gentle with her in case. And feel for babies but you won't be able to feel them until she's 6 weeks along. She looks a little pear shaped MAYBE but I can't tell you for sure. She just might be a chubby piggy.

ive got 2 girls in my 2x4 cage. ive held her 2day and ive felt her belly and there is no movement as i can feel. i will try and bond her with my other girls
