Does neutering eliminate smell/scent?

I know not all male guinea pigs smell, but I also know some do. So my question is, does neutering eliminate their scent? I am still looking into getting a male and I would have to get him neutered anyhow, so I am just wondering if it will help.

It only makes them unable to reproduce and sometimes reduces impaction problems.

Males don't smell any more than females in my opinion. Only if you don't spend sufficient time cleaning them out.
