Behavior Does my guinea pig remember me?

Hi!
I?m a teenage girl who used to own a guinea pig. His name was Bear and I loved him so, so very much. I had him for about four years when my mom decided to give him away without my permission, which is a very long and sad story.
The last time I saw Bear was over a year ago, the day that he was given away. I haven?t gone to visit him yet because I?m still so sad about how he was taken from me and I thought it would be too painful for me to see him with his new owners. However, I feel like I?m finally ready to see him, but I?ve been wondering: when he sees me, will he remember me? Or will he be scared of me because he thinks I?m a stranger?
