do your guinea pigs scratch? I don't mean scratching continuously, but every time you look at the guinea pigs, do they scratch? or they rarely scratch?

the only time my piggies ever scratched was when they had mites but it is possible that yours just had an itch!!

My pigs scratch from time to time. It's really casual scratching.

My entire herd is treated with Ivermectin, so I know it's not mites. Like humans, sometimes they just get an itch.

My pig seems to scratch quite a bit. She just got a shot of ivermectin yesterday so I'm interested to see just how much that cuts back on her scratching!
