Looks pretty good to me, but you need to get one of our bunny experts to comment on size. To be honest, I don’t know what requirements rabbits have.

Does your lop get lots of floor time exercise?

I've read(sorry I cannot find the thread again) that a 2x3 floor plan with 2 grids high(or how ever high so they can stand up all the way without touching the top) in at least one spot is recommended for one. I think Inle_Rabbit knows alot about bunnies.

He has room to stand and to jump on things, like the shelf you put in. It looks nice. how does he like it?

I think it's great as a home base but would never ever shut him up in it. There is no where near enough floor room for him to move with ease. As a minimum, it should be four times the length of him stretched out.

The house rabbit society recommends at least 8sq ft of cage space coupled with 24 sq ft of exercise space for at least 5 hours a day. Most UK sites (and I actually agree with this over the HRS) suggest 12 sq ft of cage space and at least a 24sq ft pen attached permanently - in other words access to 36 sq ft 24/7.

The little levels are great though, bunnies love to jump and explore.

I remember you, BunnyLove, with the questions about finding the grids and such. I'm really happy for you that you were able to sort something out. :) By the way, he looks just like my lop! :p Anyways, great job!

I agree with pigsforlife as a cage it is too small. As a safety space/home base it is great. Depending on how much time your bunny spends locked in his cage I would expand it by at least 1 grid length wide. I also wonder if you could take the wire part of that pet store cage off and just leave bunny with the plastic bottom as a litter box. That would give him more free space to hop around and a less sectioned off cage. I would definitely make a second level though out of grids.
