Grooming Do my Guinea pigs have mites?

I have two guinea pigs Roxy and ChubChubs. I have realized that Roxy has a bald spot, i looked up what that meant and it said that it could be mites. I have realized that they have been itching themselves but i don't think they have a lot. Do they have mites? I don't want to waste my money if they don't have any.

If you could post a picture, you'll likely get a better educated answer. It could just be a fungal infection, or nothing at all.

There is no way to know for sure if your pigs have mites. A vet visit would cost you money and likely result in the vet wanting to do a skin scraping, which is painful for the pig and misses the mites half the time anyway.
