I got a new baby pig when he was about a month old. He's two months now and he sure does wheek a lot. He eats PLENTY and has a friend, but he wakes me up constantly in the morning. I don't get up until 8am for school and he wakes me up about 6am every morning. I feed him, and he'll quite down for a bit, but start wheeking again about 7. I'm gonna keep him regardless because he's so cute and I love him, but I hope he cuts back. He wheeks so much and so loud it sounds like he's getting a sore throat now.

Guinea pigs are crepuscular, which means they're more active at dusk and dawn. The only way to keep him from waking up at six is to keep the room totally dark until you're ready to wake up -- as soon as it's light, he's going to want to eat and move around.

Yes this is all very true. Or if mine hear me up even if it's dark, they start weeking for their morning hay rack filled. Spoiled.

I adopted a girl who was pregnant. The babies are about 2.3 weeks old now. they Wheek a lot in the cage, but non stop when I take them from the mama. He probably really misses his family. Just love him lots, and give him lots of love. Can he sleep somewhere else for a while, until he sleeps through the night?

Good point! Mine like to snuggle under blankets. Maybe he would sleep better if he had more darkness.
