Biting Do any of your piggies chew your C&C cages?

My newer pig is chewing the wires to death to where the paint is coming off. Is that a concern that he could be ingesting it? He has plenty of wood stuff and cardboard to chew, but he prefers the wires.

Also, he is still a biting little thing, though it's gotten better. He loves to be petted, but it seems if I move my hands too quickly toward him, he lunges to bite me as almost an instinctual thing, it seems. Then he settles down and coos at me while I pet him. Is this just maybe a holdout from previous rough handling by the girls who had him before perhaps?

My guy bites his bars. Dunno why. Never bitten me though!

They can break their teeth on the wires. I had a determined bar chewer, and the only way I could stop it was to line the inside of the cage with plexiglass.
