Disgusted with mis-information on web...

I typed in the words "guinea pig care" on Google and of course several sites popped up. I was curious to see if I would learn anything new, and also if other sites are as informed as this one. THEY ARE NOT!!!!

I looked at 3 different sites and all were very lacking. One site said only 100 square INCHES was adequate for an adult, another said the typical 2 sqare feet. Also all said a wire bottom is ok, just not preferred, and that glass enclosures were fine as well. The worst part was the fact that one site was developed by a vet!! It is very disconcerting that new owners will type in that same search and get bombarded with stupid, outdated information.

Is there any way to make what I typed into the search engine a trigger for this site and the Cavy Spirit site to come up? This site is by far the best I have stumbled upon, and it would obviously be better for new owners.

Frustrated,
Marie

Both sites would have to put a meta content code up I believe.

I ran across one site with the two square feet rule, except for that I thought it was an excellent site. It also showed their pigs in a cube and coroplast waiting pool combination, and it was the first site I found and helped me take good care of my piggies.

But yeah, when vets make awful sites like that it makes me feel all ehhh that they can still make money (I think) and run a practice unsuccesfully

Actually google doesn't use meta tags anymore. This site does have meta tags also. If you look at the source code for this site you will notice it. Google is a very complex search engine and there are a lot of variables for you to get a top listing. One big help would be for you to link your guinea pig site(s) to this one. Google gives a lot of credit to sites that link to similar sites. If you guys want to get this site to the top of the search engines a big help would be to give a nice link over here.

By the way this site is number one when you type in "Guinea Pig Cages" and "Guinea Pig Cage". So it is at the top of the search engine.
