I typed in the words "guinea pig care" on Google and of course several sites popped up. I was curious to see if I would learn anything new, and also if other sites are as informed as this one. THEY ARE NOT!!!!
I looked at 3 different sites and all were very lacking. One site said only 100 square INCHES was adequate for an adult, another said the typical 2 sqare feet. Also all said a wire bottom is ok, just not preferred, and that glass enclosures were fine as well. The worst part was the fact that one site was developed by a vet!! It is very disconcerting that new owners will type in that same search and get bombarded with stupid, outdated information.
Is there any way to make what I typed into the search engine a trigger for this site and the Cavy Spirit site to come up? This site is by far the best I have stumbled upon, and it would obviously be better for new owners.
Frustrated,
Marie
