Diehoerea Question

My 5 year old sow has a bad case of diehoerea. I was wondering if it would be okay to feed her grass. I really would like to take her outside for a little while, because she seems to have been losing a lot of energy and she loves to run around outside and eat a lot of grass. Would that make the diehoerea worse? Thanks!

Eating greens will not help the diarrhoea one tiny bit. Don't put her outside while she is sick and especially do NOT let her eat grass. Starve her of fruits and veggies and stick to pellets and hay until it clears up, but make sure she has plenty of fresh water at all times so she doesn't get dehydrated.

It would also be a wise idea to take her to the vet, as this could get very serious very fast. Hope this helps.

Definitely make a vet appointment NOW. She could have something that will kill her. My Charlie gets soft poop when it's too hot, but not "really bad diarrhea" as you said unless there's something really wrong.

We actually have the Coccidia parasite in our backyard - I know this because the pigs would catch it every time I took them out there.

That Coccidia parasite is really nasty and hard to get rid of. My cats caught it once.
