Determining Sex

How old do piggies have to be before determing the sex? We have two sows now and a friend's piggie just had babies and we were going to adopt another sow but they cannot determine the sex and we don't want babies too!

Well I know that people say you can't sex kittens when they are first born, but I have. I'm not so sure about pigs though.

If you pick up two at a time and look under neith, can you see a difference in them?

Well, as a single, full-time working mother, it is too hard to find the extra 45 minutes each way during the week to get to her house. As mentioned, i will try to get there over the weekend, depending on her plans for the holiday.

I only get done with work at 5:30, get the kids from daycare, travel the 45 minutes each way - actually make that 55 minutes since I would be leaving from the daycare, plus time there, and lets see, dinner, homework, baths and get the kids to bed by 8:30??? Not to mention two weeks a night we have scouts and the other two religious classes (each kid goes a diff night due to age).

Don't worry - I am not just going to take one of the piggies just for the sake of taking one. I really don't want baby piggies of my own.

Oh sorry I didn't mean it that way, I'm slow I didn't read all of your first post, and didn't realize the piggie was at her house. I'm sorry forgive my stupidty! LOL. I'm out of it to night.
