I have an adult male piggy, Nikki who has of late been getting more and more dejected. He is not neutered and at the moment has to live alone because he does not get along with my other males. I have his cage in between 2 other of the male's cages because he seemed to like having company, and would talk to them and be happy and stuff. But lately he has been eating less and less when I feed him hay and fresh veggies, but he eats his pellets just fine and is drinking normally. However he spends more time curled up in the corners of his cage than anything else. Tonight when it was feeding time, he didn't even turn around to see me and i had to coax him forward to take a tiny piece of lettuce from me.
I'm nto sure what to do. I have a new younger male that I haven't tried matching with him yet, should I try that and see if it helps or should I wait and see if he's actually sick?

Thanks.

I think you should see a vet.

you should dfinatly see a vet. do you know how old your pig is?

you could also try puting the male in but he might be depressed. i went to my dads for a week and couldnt take my gp salem. my mom was feeding him and everything but she is kind of scared of him so she didnt hold him or anything. he stopped eating and drinking so after two days my mom took him to her friends house.( she works for a small animal vet) as soon as she go there and they took him out and checked him over he started eating and drinking like crazy!he is an older pig so maby he is just more sensitive or something. i dont knoe. he gave my mom quite a scare though.by the way, it was ten thirty at night when my mom took him over. her friend was going to take him to work the next day. she still did and he got a check up and he also got nuetered. he was perfectly fine he was just being a brat. i hope everything works out ok with your pig. you should really take him to a ve as soon as possible though. better safe than sorry. especialy when your pigs life might be at stake. try to find a small animal vet. vet that usualy just treat dogs and cats might not have much knowlage or experiance with pigs. you dont want to be miss diagnosed.good luck.
