Is it possible to cut the panels?

You mean the grids (aka cubes)? Then ya with a really really sharp and strong pair of wire cutters. It is easier just to bend the grids or (if you are using them to add that extra inch to the cage) then just over lap the grids. Example 2.5 x 3 (just over lap the extra part of the .5 grid)

I agree, overlapping is the best way to go. What do you needto cut them for?

i cut a few of my cubes with a good saw. you probably can cut them with bolt cutters as well if you can get a hold of some.

I tried to cut mine with wire cutters, but it didn't work. A saw would probably work

I cut mine with wire cutters. I use the half grids as a guard railing on the upper deck. That way, it doesn't feel so enclosed and I can get to the piggies easily. It does take some work to cut through the end pieces, the middle wires are fairly easy.

that what i did with mine as well. just a safety thing.
