Feet Curved toe nails??

My guess would be frequent trimming, I just adopted mine and it has some long nails also. From what I have read here the 'quick' will retract as the nails are trimmed so I am planing on just trimming a bit each week for several weeks till they are back to where they should be.

Is he an older pig? Some pigs, as they age, will start having their toes curve to the outside. I don't think it's specifically because of long nails, since even older pigs who've had their nails trimmed regularly will have the problem.

This is different from pigs that have nails too long that start to curve under the foot.
