I just finished building my cage last night. It is a 2x3. I followed the directions, used the same measurements and the internal measurements are correct, however, there is a 1/2" gap between the coroplast walls and the grids. Did I do something wrong?

I'll have pictures up this weekend.

You need about 1/2" gap for the connectors. If the coroplast fit right up against the grids, they would end up actually sitting on the connectors rather than on a flat surface.

yes, when i was cutting my coroplast, i got the same problem. so instead, i have decided to use connecters only on top and cable ties all the way done. seems to be working well!

So would you have to buy a whole new piece of coroplast?

no, the small space between the coroplast and the grids are not a problem. Well...other than hay seems to fall down and under the cage right there :)

My husband neglected to take the connectors into account when he cut the coroplast, so he had to snip the connectors rather than re-cut the coroplast. Everything is working great!

How would you clip those?

yes denise, how do you snip the connectors?

OH, the coroplast is, as others have said, fine. The connectors would lift it up and make it uneven. I'm guessing clipping the connectors was more of a hassle than anything. =)
