Canada Coroplast in Ontario!?

Hi all you Ontarians out there!

I was just wondering where I could find corplast for the cage? It's frustrating to find it in Newmarket...

Homedepot, in the windows and door section. Ask for Coragated Plastic.

I got my coroplast at Rona - they had lots of different colours available. Our Home Depot just had white. As Milkingit said, you have to ask for corrugated plastic or "sign" board.

I had also checked the yellow pages and found a sign store that would sell it to me but it ended up being simpler just to go to Rona (it was about $20 for a whole sheet, if I remember correctly)

I got mine in a local sign shop. It came in a huge sheet for $25.00.

I got mine there, it's a 4x8. GE polymershapes is in Toronto, and they have it for $10 I think, and Laird Plastics (in Mississauga) has it cheap as well.

Ah, sorry, but unfortuneately I'm mathimatically deprived... what exactly or should I say, how big exactly is a "4x8"? Like, is it able to build a 2x4 plus two 1x2 carriers and still have left overs?

A 4x8 is 48 inches by 96 inches. It is big enough to be up to 6 grids long or 2.6 grids wide. You won't have enough to make 2 1x2 carriers. For the 1x2 carriers, you'll probably need another 4x8 because even though it doesn't look very big the sides and flaps take up a lot of plastic.

I would recommend getting two sheets at once. It's kind of a pain to transport and if you intend on doing different stuff with it (carriers, ramps etc) it's nice to have the second sheet right there already. Of course it's not necessary to have two sheets to make one 2x4 cage (plus a few extras) but if you can get a good price I'd say get two (I ended up cutting wrong and had to go get another anyway :crazy:!!).

I got mine at Signarama. If I remember correctly it was $25 for a sheet that would fit a 2x6 and I had leftover. Great service and tons of colours to choose from!

I live in london Ontario and ordered mine from Parker Plastics. I'm not sure if its a local business only or a franchise, but you could check it out. Prices, selection and service were great. They delivered right to my living room.
