Hi :O) I am very excited I just completed my cage thanks to you all.
My ? is, if any pee seeps under the carefresh, will it seep into the corplast or does it not seep into that kind of material? any ideas to keep it from seeping?
thankyou

No, it will not seep into the coroplast. You can also line the coroplast with newspaper. I have never had a problem with any puddles when I clean the cage either. Just wipe it down when you clean with a mix of vinegar and water to clean and disinfect it.

Thank you for replying. At first I was worried I bought the wrong thing. I cannot believe I got it put together - I never put together anything before that involved measuring at least not right! hehe :O)

Ha ha! I felt just like that. After I had made the cage I was like, woah, did I just do that?

I line with 8 sheets of newspaper first, then only cover it with wood shavings on top. It helps to absorb urine (if the urine really seep under the bedding) plus easy to roll up the newspaper with bedding during cleaning.

Nope, there are only teeny holes in the corners, and if you have ANy type of bedding it will not go through. Coroplast is plastic, so nothing will get through that. I'm glad you made your cage!

thank you for the reassurance. I didn't want to be suprised by anything :)
