connecting cages

do you think it would be ok for me to connect two cages together to make a bigger cage? (if it was a safe connection)

yes it is safe. I did it. Look in my gallery, I connected a 2x3 and a 2x4 together.

do you mean petstore cages? If then that would probably still be too small.
