Confused Piggy Love??

When I purchased my pig Teebo, I orginaly got him a friend on the same day. Unfortunatly this pig was constantly harassed by Teebo, who seemed to be trying to mate with him (even though this other pig was also a boy). The poor piggy was terrified to leave the pigloo because Teebo would head straight for his butt and even when I would try to hold him he made this very terrified noise. After 2 weeks I decided that the other pig would be happier with another family, so I gave him away. :(

Now that Teebo is older (I got him this past Feb.) I wish that he had a friend to play with, I feel bad for him being along in his cage when all of our other animals have another of thier kind to hang out with. I am just afraid that:
1) if I get a yound pig Teebo could really hurt him
and
2) if I get a pig that is close to Teebos age or older Teebo might still be "confused" and try to mate with him.

Has anyone else had similar problems or could make some suggestions?

Don't worry about the "mating" thing. It is normal behavior between two males and is not mating but instead a dominance thing. It's just the other pig saying who's boss. The dominant pig will also strut around the cage walking funny and making funny rumbling noises. My boss pig also nudges the little guy with his nose a lot. This should taper off a bit once the relationship is established and the dominant pig feels secure in his role. Unless they are actually fighting and injuring each other, I don't think it's much of an issue.

When I got a pig friend for my big guy, I bought a young one because I figured my older pig would automatically get to be the dominant one and there would be less fighting for that role. When unsupervised, I partitioned off the cage just so I made sure the little one got a chance at the food and water bottle (I was afraid he was getting pushed around too much and might not be getting enough to eat). Once I was sure he was gaining weight, I removed the barrier - they kept trying to bust through and get together anyway. They seem to be doing fine.

Hope this helps.
