Computer Desk

Is it safe to put a hidey house on my computer desk so she can hang out while I surf the net? Do guinea pigs try to jump off high things?

Certain pigs love to jump off of high things... My older piggy, Charlie, has attempted to jump off of my bed before... anything to escape! haha

My pig did just obliviously fall off my bed one day, luckily she was not hurt. I used to let my pigs run around the computer desk... until one day the monitor went off, I looked behind it (flatscreen) and there was Amelia chewing on the cords! The next week the printer wouldn't work and I looked at the cord, and again, it had been chewed.

But if you watch the pig at ALL TIMES and it stays in the hidey house, I think you will be fine.

I forgot about chewing on cords. I don't think Cali would do that. She is still getting used to the new surroundings and I think we keep changing stuff too fast. I think she would just stay in her hidey house but will test that theory tomorrow.
