Communication Arts - Speech (pet stores, breeders)

I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas. For my Communication Arts, we have to write a two paragraph speech(easy!), but I have to have three main topics. The types of speech we have are: Persuasive, Pet Peeve, or Sales. I'm combining persuasive and pet peeve. My topic is going to be about : Pet stores, breeders, animal abuse/neglect. Are these good three main topics? If anyone could give me any suggestions, or ideas about my topics it'd be great. What I'm going to do is put my speech on PowerPoint(talking while they look at pictures). I'm going to go to pet stores and look up the Hollister Rescue, and post pictures to show how pet stores and backyard breeders really work. IF anyone has the link to The Hollister Rescue, it'd be great. I'm so excited to do this! BUT, the speech can only be 3-5 minutes long! I'm going till 5 minutes, baby! I'm thinking of talking about cages, like how SMALL they are and how that is horrible, how breeding is dangerous and selfish, ect.. Things like that. If anyone else has any suggestions, thank you!!!

Those 3 ideas sound great! I would talk about why breeding is bad, why pet stores are bad. (In your own opinion, of course.)

Yes I agree with Emily. Powerpoint is also good becuase it is fun to look at and your peers do not get bored. "expecially your teacher"
