Nails/Nail Trimming Clipping nails

I have two amazing guinea pigs, named herb and basil. Herb is more shy and prefers to not be handle whereas Basil loves the attention but when it comes to filing/clipping they’re nails I can’t get Basil to sit still every time I attempt to clip his nails he’s squirms and squeals which is unusual for his character and he never minds and quite enjoys cuddles and attention… any advice would be appreciated really tried everything just wanting to better his care!

Wrap him like a burrito with only one paw at a time out, hold him firmly, and use kitten nail scissors to trim his nails.

On the other hand, if you have someone to help, one of you can apply food to the pig and the other one can clip the nails.

Thankyou, just don’t want to stress him out but don’t want his nails getting over grown. Want him to be a happy healthy little man
