I'm going to call the vet tomorrow. I can't afford another vet office fee or fecal exam fee.

Is she sharing a cage with a friend? If so and the friend has not gotten sick then I would go another route. I had an experience with my Lucy and I thought I was going to loose her because her diarrhea was so awful. And that vet charged the same price for a follow up which was just awful with the fecal exam done each time. And then on the second visit she was put on Metronidazole 50/ml suspension. Her dose was 0.4 every twelve hours for ten days. She got immediate results. But I think had I been given the information to give her Oxbow Digestive Support (which I had to crack into pieces with a hammer and then crush in a pill crusher) and Oxbow daily C and Papaya Fruit Plus ( an active digestive enzyme supplement) mixed with Critical Care and syringe fed, she would not have needed that second three hundred dollar visit. On the second visit I got this information. Her stools are normal which they had never been from her arrival to my home over a year ago. I thought her poop was always going to be soft and squishy. I thought this was her norm. It was so not. The herd was off salads for more then two months until Lucy recovered. Boy, are they happy to get their salads back. Hope this helps. Also the vet wanted to run blood tests and I declined that altogether. She has lived for over a year with the herd and not one of them was sick. This was her tummy with upset floral and I am so thankful that I found a way to help her. I just wish I had that information in the beginning. And I am changing vets.

Oxbow makes the Papaya Fruit plus too and I had to shop around to find it but it really made a difference along with the other Digestive Support and Vit C.

I have the digestive support tablets. I give her 1/2 am and 1/2 PM. She was on metronidazole 0.2ml twice a day for 10 days. Then after each dose she got probiotics (about 30 mins later).

Where can I purchase all these items?

The places that sell Oxbow Pellets; Petsmart, Petco, etc. I had to shop around and should have made phone calls to find everything. I shop at a Bunny Rescue and they have most everything. I was under pressure and did not want to make the drive to the rescue so bought from Petsmart. I had to shop for the Papaya Fruit Plus. Some stores were out. I think it really helped. I gave her this mixed with Critical Care. Exotic vet offices carry these too along with their bird pellets, hay, etc. They are a couple of bucks more at the vets. then at the Pet stores. The rescues have the best prices.

Again, I have to say that I would not have needed that second vet visit if I had known of these supplements. And I may have not needed a vet visit at all had I known about these supplements and had treated in the beginning.
Lucy's diarrhea was so bad she was soaked from under her chin to her butt. Soaked. I was bathing her twice a day and could not keep up with it. I was so afraid I was going to loose her. I had never seen anything like this and hope not to ever again.

Hopefully my shipment from Amazon will be here tomorrow :) But today her poops look a little better! Still soft and very wet looking, but formed! So if she or Annie steps on them they still get poo all over their feet.
