Checking measurments and your opinions

When I move in a few months, I will be living with my gramma who has a cat. SO I'm trying to think of someway to make a catproof cage for my pigs. I was thinkings something like this. But with three levels instead of two. THat would be about 23 sq ft, right. I know technically the ramps take out space, so more like 20 sq.ft? Do you think it would work for my four boys, or should I continue the search for a good support system for a lid for my 4X5?

The last image won't work for me, but if you had enough grids to make the top one with three levels, I think that would be awesome.

I deffinatly have enough, I put the grids together(not sure what color coro yet)just to get a better visual, its huge, I'll post some pics later.

Don't forget about having to reach all areas of the cage for cleaning. I had the same challenge when my boys moved in with my sisters two pigs at her house. She has 4 dogs and 2 cats too. So, we needed a cage big enough for four boy piggies and with a lid! We ended up with a 2 by 7 using two wire shelves from Lowes as the lid. The back one is fixed and the front one flips up to expose the entire half of the cage.

Now, that requires alot of horizontal space. I don't know how much room grandma is going to give you!

It's going to be my mom, me, and my gramma, its gonna be in my room so she really doesn't have much say(heh). I've decided I'm going to make it three 2X4's on top of each other. That way there is actually more square footage than what they have now.Now I just have to pick what color coro I want...

Yeah I can't wait to buildit, probably in a couple of weeks. I just hope Dagwell isn't too lazy to use the ramps.
