Hi all, I just bought a cedar log from my pet store called "habba hut" which is mostly sold for reptiles but also supposedly suitable for guinea pigs.

I have two baby girls and I wanted them to have these as a tunnel and something to chew on whilst their tropical fiddlesticks arrive. However to be on the safe side I tried googling what type of wood the log is made of, and the only solution I could find was one person claiming it was Cedar.

I cannot decide whether or not to let my piggies play with it atm, yes or no to the (possibly) cedar log?

Thanks guys!

NO! Cedar is always a no-no. I would get a Tube o' Hay if you want a tunnel.
