Hi Ly,

My girlfriend is suffering from a burn out with despressed periods too, and is recorvering very well at this moment. I just wanted to say that I have some view in how you are probably feeling right now, and wanted to say that it will all pass if you take your rest and don't force things. I wanted to say that I am very patient and will check this thread every month for updates on the caves. You explained your situation, and that's a brave but nessessary thing to do. I hope it revlieved you from some stress.
I don't doubt receiving the caves sooner or earlier. But I don't want a refund, from my view it was for charity anyway

I was just checking in. I'm SO sorry to hear about the rough time you've been having. I've been in your shoes with the depression. It takes all you have to even want to breathe, much less accomplish anything. Take care of YOU and your needs first. Like someone else said, if you don't, you won't have anything left to give others. My motto has become... Why do today what I can put off until tomorrow. I'll probably get booed for that but it's the only way I can cope sometimes. You will be in my prayers. Thanks Lacy. Not sure if you read the thread in Gen. Chat but my mother passed away last month so I'm dealing with the depression issue all over again. I do vow however, that everyone will get their caves eventually. I know I have a couple paid orders to finish like yours Lacy but you will get them. I will do the paid orders first then I will work on the donation caves/hammocks. It may be awhile yet but I will have them done in time for Christmas!!!

Yes, I read about your mother's passing and responded. How are you doing these days? I've been thinking about you. I hope it's getting a little easier. Quit worrying about the caves! We all understand. I'll continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I hope it's getting a little easier.

Sometimes it feels like it's getting easier but other times it's still so hard. I am still having a bad time of it. Some days are better than others. I am still not sleeping well at all and my dr. is not helping me. I asked last week for something to help me sleep and have been pretty much ignored. I am eating a bit better now. I just miss her so much and would give anything to just be able to hug her, kiss her and tell her I love her.

I keep telling dad that we need to go through mom's clothes and get them out of the house but he seems to be putting it off. He says we will do it after the 1st of the month. I think waiting is just going to make it that much harder to do. But I am understanding and being sensitive to his feelings too. He couldn't find some of his clothes the other day so I was over there helping him look for them and there was a basket that had both his and mom's clothes in it. I took mom's stuff and put it into another basket and left his clothes in that basket. There are some jammies that will fit me (I know because I gave them to her) that I brought home and I also found one of my shirts in there. I think I may have left it there at some point of time and forgot it was there so mom stole it.

I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. Loosing a parent is very hard. I lost my father at 19, and honestly, some days are still hell nearly a decade later! Sometimes I think it was because I was so young still, but I just watched my husbands Grandmother pass away from a stroke last year and it is still hard on his mother. She still has all her mothers things, clothes and such packed away in spare drawers around the house. Honestly, I think that you are somewhat right about your dad making it harder on him, I agree it is nessisary to respect his feelings, but after the 1st, hopefully you can coach him into starting to move on.

I asked last week for something to help me sleep and have been pretty much ignored.

I have an aunt and a sister in law who work as nurses. They work crazy shifts, nights and days, and often can't sleep very well. They take plain over the counter Gravol (as many of their co workers do too) when they are having a sleepless night. I have done it on occasion too, it really seems to work without giving you that gross hung over feeling the next day. I would perhaps talk to your doctor about if that would be ok? Just to help give you that edge needed to knock you into la la land.

Hey everyone, I am a new cavy mommy as of Oct 6th, my birthday. My husband bought me two beautiful baby boys. I am so excited. Anyways my boys love to sleep and cuddle together. What would be the best size cavy cave for me to buy?

Well I don't know if Ly is taking orders or not.
As far as a pigloo goes, if they are small pigs, a regular pigloo will work but eventually you will want one for each boy as they like their own things and own space.

Since Ly will be refunding the cavy cave money, I am going to close this thread. When she is back in business for new orders, she'll create a new listing over on GPH, the new home for finding guinea pig-related products.
