This sunday coming I am bringing down my guinea pigs from my dads house to my mums house. The only problem is that my dads car is to small, so we are going to travel for two hours with the roof down. I have just brough my piggies a holder thing to bring them down in and I am gonna put loads of bedding and some cucumber in there. Do you think that they will die or get ill from being in a really cold car for two hours?

I doubt that they will die. Put in lots and lots of hay in the carrier, so they can burrow underneath it when cold. Um... If you've got space put a cuddle cup or cozie in the carrier. Maybe chuck is some hand towels?

That sounds like a good idea to me, Piglet!

I think you'll be colder than they will so if you survive the trip, they should be ok.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna be FREASING!

Or get like an old blanket and put over the carrier and leave a small opening for air to pass through for them to breathe. Also some kind of cozies will help too. Good luck and let us know how the trip goes.

You should put a cozy or a hand towel in there for them to get cozy under. Put lots of hay. And put lots of veggies.. so when there eating they wont mind the cold at all :)

just like to say that the trip went well, it wasnt that cold, I think me and my dad looked a bit stupid dressed like we were in antarticta!

Glad you had a safe trip.
