There's this cage I'm thinking about getting.
it's alittle over 8 sq. feet.

But, the bottom is canvas.
I'm not sure whether canvas is good or not.
My mom said it would get smelly, but I don't know.

Would it be good or bad?

It will be a lot harder to keep clean than coroplast.

is it the midwest guinea habitat? Because thats what i have! lol nd no its doesnt stink. if u clean the cage every week and put the right amount of bedding in it then you wont have any smelling problems. while yes its harder to clean then coroplast its still an AWESOME cage

I started with one of the Midwest Habitat cages and the canvas is OK but the coroplast is much better and easier to clean IMO.
The pigs liked to pee in the corner too and then it would get into the seam and harder to clean up.

Sorry not entirely on topic but I was just reading the post from Nikkipig about her GPs peeling feet. I saw the name of this thread and though 'good lord what awful condition is canvas bottom?!?!' I told you my knowledge was a bit out of date :D
