I really want to build a c&c cage but am having great difficulty finding a corrugted plastic supplier in Scotland. I know it trades under various names and have tried a few sign makers and packaging suppliers but most have had a minimum order far greater than I require. Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated, whether it be a shop that sells it or an online supplier that doesn't charge a fortune for delivery.

Thank you

Try linonium, or cardboard with a shower curtian over it. I hear thouse are good replace ments.

Whats A C&C cage???

Cube and coroplast, check out the homepage. Its a really effective and cheap way to house your piggies, if you can find the materials! You can get much bigger dimensions for the same price as a very small shop bought cage. There are many designs on the site and most members here have one.

Oh Thank you!
I have a 'Super Pet' cage...
The bad thing is that it is less than 3x4 ft and i have 2 piggies :(
I should get a C&C cage for my piggies :)

I desperatly want one before I rescue piggies but there don't seem to be many local suppliers of coroplast in my area. The best quote I got so far for a 8ftx4ft sheet of coroplast was £47, about $84! I'll keep looking!

You're going to rescue piggies? :) Wow!
My friend from school wanted to give me their piggies but my mom wouldnt let me .. :(
(broken link removed)

I believe it's also called correx in your neck of the woods.

Why is it such a big deal to rescue cavies, that's my question?
And not to sound rude, but how did you not know what c&c cages were.. It's what the whole website is about!

I don't think it is a big deal to rescue cavies, I just thought it would be better to give an abandoned piggie another change as so many people overlook them and just go to the petshop. I'm not fussy about hair colouring or breed or anything though, just know they will be the best loved piggies ever!

I don't believe she was talking to you. We are thrilled you are adopting! Good luck finding chloroplast. Call local sign making shops and explain to them what it is for . . .

go onto www.technologysupplies.co.uk, click on design technoligy, then click on materials then click on plastic materials-sheet and then correx sheet/joiners and it will come up with loads of coroplast. hope that helpds!!

£47??? Mine was only £15! And good on you for rescuing rather than buying!

I have an idea.
Find one of those big out-door sand box toys
that look like big turtles. I don't know if it's just mine or what,
but they don't seem to jump at ALL unless they are pop-corning.
So something with sides only half a foot would be enough with
or without a lid.
