I know that you can't use the glossy ones, but how about the color Newspaper sheets that aren't glossy. Ex. The front of the Sport's page, the Front page, and the main page of each "section".

I use newspaper in my cages but find it stains the bottom (the water bottle drips). Coloured paper is worse than just the black and white print.

I asked a vet about newspaper and the vet said it was fine. I'm hoping it really is.

most inks used in newspaper are veg. based so its not really an issue. However there are still inks on the market that are toxic. with that being said I wouldnt use the color print.

I remember reading that newspaper ink is only toxic when it's wet, and that's wet as in 'freshly printed'-by the time we get our hands on it it's perfectly safe, and it getting wet through leaky water bottles or urine doesn't make it toxic again.

So, assuming that what I read was true, newspaper is fine.

Newspaper is fine, providing it is printed using soy based ink. Most are, but if you're worried ring them.
I've always put it underneath to lift out the bedding, and on the occasions where a pig gets naughty and digs it up and chews it a bit - I've never had a problem.

My pig chews/eats most of it. I line the cage's whole bottom and she chews/eats alot of it. Even after I clip it to the fleece, she still manages to get to it!

I use the colored paper like the comics section. I have two towels on top of it and then fleece. My girls don't bother with it. I think if they can't get to it, it'd be ok but to eat it, I'd defer to one of the mods on this one.

Almost all the pages in the Toronto Star have some colour. I haven't had a problem. My pigs use news paper for toys as well as lining.

All the pages except for 2 or 3 in the North County Times have color on them. It also has alot of glossy ads that I throw away.
