can you overlap c and c?

I have space and cubes for a 5 panel by 3 panel cage, and am getting a second pig so my current one has a neutered male friend-found a rescue that neuters them and keeps them until they are recovered. I can't find a coroplast sheet bigger than 4' by 8' and this would not be big enough to make a 5 by 3 cage, and I'm not so sure about overlapping them. I am putting this on a carpeted floor and don't want pee soaking through, them getting a foot caught, chewing on packing tape, etc, etc If anyone has done this successfully, I would appreciate knowing how. Thanks a lot. I live in the middle of no where- there is no fast signs, or major store, and I am starting to get frustrated. I went to 11 stores and am now driving to get cubes on a 3 hour round trip-because that's how far away the nearest target and bed bath and beyond are. I wish I lived in an area with more people than cows.

Use two pieces. But the professionally cut ends together for a great, straight seam. Carefully apply a strip of clear packing tape to the seam--on both sides--the inside and bottom (or outside). Get the tape as perfectly smooth and flat as possible. It should work great. That's what I do with my super-long cages.

I know how you feel sasha. Target, BBB and other great stores are 2 hours away from me and we have only one tiny walmart here in town that never has what you need. They will be breaking ground in March for a supercenter but it won't be completed till around October. I did a 4 hour round trip just to get cubes, but I found coroplast here in town at the print shop.

My cage is actually 2 put together to form 1 4X5 and nothing leaks through. I use alot of newspaper though so that helps and I used a really nice clear tape on the seams because my seam runs right down the middle of the cage. As a weird side not, I have noticed my piggies dont use the bathroom on my carpet when I let them out, they only go on the towels I lay on the floor with their pigloos on top so I am very lucky

Thank you all, I am going for it, I tried setting up the cubes, and I am getting the coroplast tomorrow, so hopefully I will have picture in a few days. Thanks again for replying everyone, I was worried about what Jane and her new friend would do if it wasn't one solid piece, she is into everything.
By the way, I've been a vegetarian for 8 years and like cows, but I wish they sold cubes. I took a four hour trip to bed bath and beyond today!
