You can machine wash and dry. No promises it won't shrink, but mine hasn't. At least, if it has, I haven't noticed! Haha.

So yes, you can.

:)

ZUIDY EDIT: Also, Fleece dries fast. So, if you are really worried about shrinking, keep feeling inside the dryer to see if it is dry and you can take it out then. But the towels may take up to 2 times washed and dried.

;)

Oh, one more thing:)

How many times do I have to wash it before I can put it in my pigs cage?

3 times minimum, but I did mine 4 times for a safe measure. To clarify, that is wash AND dry 3 times.

:)

I wash mine and dry them all the time and haven't had a problem of them shrinking.

I always cut mine an inch longer than the cage. That way if it shrinks over time it will still fit in my cage. I machine dry mine on high also...it kills out all the germs and bacteria.

Also, many driers have a "More Dry" setting. It will make the cycle last longer, but at least you won't have to put it in for a second cycle in the drier (no promises). I am speaking for towels now, not Fleece.

Emptying the lint trap is a must, too. I find it intriguing to see how much lint that it catches. :D

You can save energy and hang it up. It dries incredibly fast.

I tumble dry low (or delicate on some dryers).

I second the advice of cleaning the lint trap. I always have enough hair in there to make a whole 'nother guinea pig.

Fleece does NOT shrink. Just in case anyone is wondering.
