What is the minimum size of cage a rabbit can have?

It depends on the size of your rabbit, 3 pounds or 30 pounds - makes a big difference

www.rabbit.org has a ton of information on housing buns and cage sizes. I keep my rabbit in a 16sq foot cage (posted a photo in my gallery), but, due to his size he also gets quite a bit of free time out of his cage at night and when I am home during the day. He's roughly 11-12 pounds, not overweight either.

I have two dwarf bunnies (both under 3lbs) in a 2 x 4 cube cage. (posted in the picture gallery) They get out to run frequently, However as soon as I get some new coroplast I'm extending there cage to a 2 x 5 cube cage.

What is the minimum size of cage a rabbit can have?

No matter how small the rabbit, they should have a minimum of six square feet. And of course bigger rabbits need bigger cages. Even though dwarfs can be very small they tend to be active and need a large cage. A good C&C cage for a normal size rabbit would be 4 cubes long by 2 or more cubes high.
