Velcro Cable Ties​

Use Velcro cable ties instead of plastic ones just about anywhere! They are reusable and they don't leave "poke-y" edges since you don't need to cut them.

I use them to keep access doors on the cage closed, to keep a stubborn piece of coroplast snug up against the grid, and even to hang my hay racks so they are easily removable for refilling or washing!

Best of all, I can even use them on my piggy supply cabinet handles to deter inquisitive toddlers!​

I get mine from Wal-Mart in the craft section.

I used those before, on my PVC rabbit cage...they start to come loose after awhile (like get wore out)...and the toddlers?....they can get in even easier with them.

I think $2.50 or $3 for 6 ties.

I should add that I only use the ties in parts of the cage that the pigs CAN'T reach. I use to use them in more places, but the pigs started to chew on them and unravel them.

I had them on for 45 min and had rabbits running like nuts through my house.

I've used them for about a year now, and no problems at all with him getting in the cage.
