I recently got a coctiteil (the small ones) and I was wondering: Would the normal sized box cubes be big enough for the bird to fit through? Or should I buy the baby proof ones?
Thank you!

I couldn't imagine a bird getting through those grids.

My parents say he could, I don't think either, because of the sholder width, but my mom was going to buy a cage at Walmart, unless those cages are more than 16-18$. I told my mom that there are smaller squres, but still 14 inches which are are baby proof, but she won't let me.

A bird can fit through there. My friend owns an aviary and he said that a cocatiel (spelling?) can fit through there easily. I suggest getting the ones from target since they have much smaller holes :)

I think a parakeet could fit through, so you'll want to double-grid. Just to be safe, at least.

The smaller grid holes are discontinued, or so I've heard.

Thanks, but my mom said she would rather get a cage from her friend...
Just one more question, how do you all make your cages so perfect?!?! I added on with the remaining choroplast to make the cage a little larger than a 2x3, but It looks horrible! (Pics might go up soon) And I mean by both cubes and cage.

Oh, I'm sure it's not terrible. What would you like help with?
