Cage Heaters?

Heat helps bacteria grow. Ever had surgery and notice how the surgical room is so cold? Keeping a room too warm will only help the spread of any bacterial bugs that come into the house.

If you are comfortable, the pigs are perfectly comfortable as well. Give them a couple cozies or something warm to snuggle in.

Make sure the heat lamp, if you decide to keep it in the cage, is higher than the cubes. I have pigs here that stretch up and can reach up a few inches over the cubes. I'd hate for any of your pigs to suffer a burn. We have a reptile guy that comes into speak at our school every quarter, he's brought in a few reptiles that have lasting burn wounds on them from those bulbs.

Would some sort of reptile rock work? You know, those plastic rocks that heat up until warm for reptiles. Just out of curiosity, because I'm sure my piggies are perfectly comfortable in the current temperature. But if you look into it, it might be safe.
