Im so excited. My son and I put the grids together and cut the coroplast tonight. I ordered cable ties from Sue and she sent a reply saying they will be sent out tomorrow. I can't believe this is coming together so fast. This weekend I will be checking out Fleece at JoAnns Fabrics and then I just have to stablize it with the cable ties. Once thats done and Caesar is in it, I need to focus on getting her a buddy. Im going to look at one in the Ocala area if she's still available and one in Jacksonville too.

Congrats! I'm sure Caesar will LOVE it!

I bought my fleece from Joanne Fabric's, too! I love it SOOO much more than bedding. It's amazing. So congrats on making that choice, too!

Let us know how the cage comes and especially about finding Caesar a buddy!

Did you check hardware stores, Lowe's, Home Depot, etc for cable ties? I know the grids and coroplast can often be difficult to find, but cable ties should be easy. If you need more than Sue is sending you, check your closest hardware store in the electrical section or ask someone for cable ties. I've never NOT seen them in a store, and they're typically about $3 for around 100 of the 4" ones.

You can also get cable ties at Wal-Mart, Family Dollar, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, and the corner convenience store. I have seen them just about everywhere.

Thank you so much for the information on cable ties. I live in such a small town and our nearest walmart is 25 miles away and the hardware store here wanted $8.00 for a pack of 100 cable ties. I guess in a small town, they feel they can charge so much and people will pay it. I'm thankful that I was able to purchase a pack from Sue and if I need more, I'll probably purchase them from her also. It saves me alot of gas money this way too.
