Other C&C Cage For Chickens Or Ducks?

Can i use a c and c cage for my chicken and duck. I think so. I can make a 2x5 or 2x4 for both of them. I WON'T have a bottom as it will be on the grass in my front yard or it might just be over a shower curtain on my rug. Ok..... i will snap together a 2x4 c&c cage. I will put a shower curtain on my rug (first i will fold it the size of the cage)I will put the c and c cage without a bottom on top of the shower curtain i will use a 3 foot kiddie pool (the plastic ones) as a pool for the duck what do you guys think?

I am no farm animal expert but is a 2x4 big enough for a chicken and a duck together? It doesn't seem like it in my opinion.

I don't think that's enough space at all. Have you looked into the needs of these animals, as far as care and feeding and habitat go? I get the feeling there's more for you to learn.

I think you'll have an empty cage and a chicken and a duck running around the yard unless you put a lid on it. I also don't think it's large enough for either of them, much less both of them together. You should find a poultry forum and ask them about cages for those two.

no, it's too small and they both need free roaming.

Why are you keeping your duck and chicken inside? They really can't be kept in a cage like that. They should have a permanent outdoor home, with plenty of roaming room.
